Click here to read a report of Leeds United v Huddersfield Town. The 18-year-old was substituted towards the end of Saturday's West Yorkshire derby defeat at home to Huddersfield Town due to fatigue.
Delph will travel with the rest of the United squad to Northampton Town tonight for a first-round tie that has been brought forward 24 hours to be shown live on Setanta Sports.
He will then join up with Stuart Pearce's squad ahead of tomorrow night's Under-21 friendly against Czech Republic at Bramall Lane, though Leeds manager McAllister has made his feelings clear with regards the young midfielder's potentially gruelling schedule.
Asked if Delph is capable of playing both tonight and tomorrow, McAllister replied: "There is absolutely no chance. No one can play three games in four days. But he will join up with England on Monday night. We are delighted for Fabian. Credit to him for being called up but no player can play that many games."
When probed further on whether Delph would start tonight, McAllister said: "You will have to wait and see."
Delph has been rested in cup ties this season with the midfielder being brought off the bench in the Carling Cup wins over Crystal Palace and Hartlepool United, while he played no part in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at Rotherham United.
He did, however, start against Northampton in the original tie that finished 1-1 at Elland Road on November 7.
McAllister seems likely to make changes for tonight's tie after admitting some of his players looked tired against Huddersfield.
He said: "I thought there was a sign of tiredness and that is why we made changes against Huddersfield. Some of the players were a bit leggy.
"Playing Saturday and then Monday is a big ask on players. But it is for television and we appreciate that.
"Finances come into it now and again. We would much prefer an extra day's rest but I am sure so would Northampton.
"We have plenty in reserve. We had a strong bench against Huddersfield and there were some good players who never even made the bench."
McAllister's side dominated long periods of the first tie at Elland Road but could not find a winner. He added: "The onus is now on Northampton because they are the home side. This is a chance to progress in the FA Cup."
