Leeds United v
Bristol Rovers

ENOCH SHOWUNMI has set himself two personal goals this season – to help Leeds United win promotion and better his previous best scoring record.

The London-born striker moved to Elland Road during the summer from Bristol City and has already netted
twice in the opening five league and cup games.

That means he is well on his way to matching the best of 15 scored when the Robins clinched promotion from League One in 2006-07.

He said: "Both me and Luciano (Becchio) are good foils for Jermaine (Beckford), and we can create space for him behind defences. We have all played together since pre-season and I think the three of us will get goals this year.

"When I played for Bristol City, I scored 15 goals in one season and I am looking to push on and score more than that this year. I think I can do it. I have got two so far and Jermaine is on five already. We will see where we are at the end of the season, but it is healthy competition."

Gary McAllister has a major selection dilemma with the players he brought in for the midweek Carling Cup mauling of Crystal Palace having made a strong case to retain their places.

As exclusively revealed in the Yorkshire Post, United are in line for a seven-figure cash windfall after James Milner yesterday completed a £10m switch to Aston Villa from Newcastle. The 22-year-old moved to St James' Park in 2004 for an initial £3.5m deal that included a substantial sell-on clause.

Leeds have been charged by the Football Association for using an unlicensed agent, Lorenzo Paulo, in the transfer of Antony Elding from Stockport in January. The club have until next Wednesday to respond to the charge.
