AS WELL as individual runners, race organisers are keen to encourage teams to take part in the second Leeds 10k Run for All.
Charity groups, clubs, companies or just groups of friends or family can run together to raise money for the charity of their choice or the causes supported by Jane's Appeal.

Teams must be a minimum of five people and entrants must be aged 17 on the day of the race, June 22 2008.

Sponsored by Clarion Solicitors, the Team Challenge enables those applying to run as a team to receive consecutive numbers to ensure they are near to their colleagues at the start of the race.

The Team event will also be awarding trophies in the following categories:

  • Best team name

  • Best dressed team

  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams (determined by average times)

  • Most money raised by a team for charity

  • If you would like to apply to run as a team please supply the following details to the race organisers:

    Name of Team
    Name of Applicant
    Address
    Postcode
    Telephone
    E Mail

Team representatives must specify how many team places are required and send the details to to Jane's Appeal – Leeds 10k, PO Box 314, Rothwell, Leeds LS26 1BY or email to corporate@runforall.com.

Individual application forms bearing a team reference number will be provided for each competitor to fill in and return. Payment by cheque or postal order payable to 'Jane's Appeal - Leeds 10k' will be required at £20 for each entrant.

Any members of a team who have already registered individually should let the race organisers know their name, address and entry number (if they have one) so they can be easily identified and given a team number.
