LEEDS Carnegie have cancelled the the contract of centre Andy Tuilagi with immediate effect and released him by mutual agreement.
Tuilagi was in the final year of his contract with the relegated club.

He made just seven starts for Leeds Carnegie in the Guinness Premiership last season scoring one try.

He moved to Headingley Carnegie on a permanent basis last summer after a season on loan from Leicester Tigers.

Chief executive Gary Hetherington said: "We are disappointed that things did not work out with Andy the way we all hoped.

"He has been released with immediate effect after coming to a mutual agreement and we wish him all the best for the future."
