Leeds Carnegie head coach Neil Back believes his players are beginning to build themselves a "winning mentality" as they head into a Headingley Carnegie clash with local rivals Otley tomorrow.Leeds Carnegie head coach Neil Back believes his players are beginning to build themselves a "winning mentality" as they head into a Headingley Carnegie clash with local rivals Otley tomorrow.

Leeds have taken two wins from their opening two games, while Peter Clegg's side have gone down to Doncaster and, more disappointingly, at home to Esher last weekend.

But although theHeadingley club will go into tomorrow's clash as overwhelming fa
vourites, Back warned his squad of over-confidence.

"We are starting to create a winning mentality," said Back.

"The important thing for tomorrow is that mentally our players have to be at the same level they were at for our first two games. If we don't approach it in the right way potentially there then could be an upset."

Leeds make seven changes to the side that narrowly defeated Exeter last weekend, mostly in the pack.

Henry Paul, fresh from his exertions with harlequins RL will not play any part tomorrow and is likely to figure in an A League game on Monday night.

But there will still be four new faces in the starting line up. Fosi Pala'amo switches from tight head to loose-head to replace Mike MacDonald, while Rob Rawlinson comes in for Vili Ma'asi at hooker. Pete Bucknall completes the front row, coming in for his debut.

Erik Lund makes his return in the second row, while youngster Andy Boyde gets a chance in the back row after impressing off the bench in the opening two games of the season.
