From: Sarah Smith, Harrogate Road, Leeds.

I ALWAYS thought John Prescott was a disaster as Labour's deputy leader – but even his record doesn't look too bad when compared with Harriet Harman, his successor.

This post means that Harman would, effectively, run the country if anything happened to Mr Brown as he does not have, or want, an official Deputy Prime Minister.

Yet I'm not aware of one policy that she has progressed in the past year.

She has also done very few, if any, media interviews defending the Government's record, or setting out its agenda for change.

Why should we, the public, continue subsidising this nonentity. Come back Prezza, all is forgiven. Well, nearly.
