From: Adrian Byass, Oceanic Drive, Perth, Western Australia.

I WRITE to show my support and appreciation for the newly opened Terminal Five at Heathrow. Contrary to the majority of recent articles I have read and heard on this matter, I feel Terminal Five is something that the British people should be proud of and, in time, will be thankful to have.
As a regular international traveller arriving via British Airways, I can say that my recent visits (three arrivals and two departures in the past six weeks) used Terminal Four and Five and Terminal Five is far superior. Much effort has been put into the design and function which I rank alongside Hong Kong and other top international airport benchmarks for ease of passenger use.

Looking beyond initial teething troubles (of which I have had no experience), one cannot lose sight of the huge volume of traffic which Heathrow has to handle and credit should be given to those who manage it.

I will be departing again in a few days for New York and I have no fears that I will experience anything other than a fast and efficient service.
