Exclusive audio: BBC Radio’s Mark Radcliffe at the Ilkley Literature Festival

Mark Radcliffe

Mark Radcliffe

HEAR award-winning broadcaster and author Mark Radcliffe in conversation and on stage at the Ilkley Literature Festival.

Mark, one half of Radio 1’s Mark and Lard and now co-presenter of Radcliffe & Maconie, looks back 50 years over the soundtrack of his life.

Born when Britain was trying to find its own version of the dangerously sexy Elvis, by the time he was old enough to recognise pop songs on the radio, the UK was, he says, the world’s most exciting place in the world for a music fan.

In this programme, he is in conversation with the Yorkshire Post’s Digital Editor, David Behrens.
