EXCLUSIVE: Highlights from Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival 2009
CRIME doesn't pay. But sometimes it sure can thrill, particularly when some of the sharpest minds in fiction have had a hand in it.
Which is why more than 8,000 readers flocked to Harrogate for the 2009 Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival.
As in previous years, the Yorkshire Post was at the Crown Hotel to capture the highlights and record exclusive interviews with some of the world's favourite crime writers as part of our OutLoud series.
In the first of this year's series of exclusive interviews recorded at the Crown Hotel, Reginald Hill talks to Sarah Walters about Dalziel and Pascoe and his writing career which spans almost 40 years.
