Elsecar's seven-wicket win over Darfield put them nine points clear at the top of the Premier Division, and an outright victory over Saturday's visitors Sheffield Collegiate will see them top-flight champions for the 16th time.

A hot spell of 5-13
by Lesroy Weekes saw off Darfield for 111, Elsecar easing to 112-3, Jason Meadows cracking nine fours in his 62.

Nearest rivals Wickersley made 215-8, but hosts Collegiate held out at 165-7 to prevent the Northfield Lane club gaining the full seven points. Wickersley were frustrated by a gritty unbeaten 48 from junior Ben Fielding.

Third-placed Treeton powered to 300-5 at Shiregreen, Andy Tomlinson hammering 131, including 10 fours and six sixes, Steve Foster blasting seven fours in his 98.

Shiregreen were then polished off for 84 by Foster (3-14) and Rashad Shafayat (3-31).

Top scorers of the day were Whitley Hall who racked up 311 against relegation-bound Doncaster Town, teenager Dominic Sharp striking 16 fours and five sixes in a blistering 127. Donovan Koch added 67 with eight boundaries, and the best bowling for Town came from Alan Stoves with 4-37. The visitors fell for 135, South African Jaco Castle claiming 4-21.

Wath won by three wickets after dismissing Hallam for 136.
