Now they can start planning for next season's bid to equal the records of Windhill (1937-1941) and Pudsey Congs (2000-2004) who each recorded five successive title wins.
In contrast, Old Lane will have to come to terms with life in Division Two ag
ain.
Old Lane were dismissed for 73 and despite losing three early wickets, Woodlands cruised to victory. They earned 15 points and that was enough to ensure they finished two points ahead of their old rivals Pudsey Congs who closed their campaign with an 89-run win over Cleckheaton.
Pakistan Under-19 pace bowler Mohammad Naved took 8-50 as Cleckheaton were dismissed for 122 in reply to Congs' 211-7.
Congs, who batted first, lost both openers with just three runs on the board, but were revived by a third-wicket stand of 89 between Babar Butt (59) and Andrew Bourke (41).
East Bierley made sure of third place with a 51-run win at Baildon.
Andrew Rennison (62) and Greg Wood (54) helped them to a total of 163 all out in the face of some good bowling from Baildon's Ian Philliskirk (5-40) and Ahsan Butt (4-30). Baildon were dismissed for 112 with Durham paceman Mitch Claydon taking 3-25 and Kez Ahmed (3-11).
Baildon, who could have finished third if they had won, dropped to fifth because Pudsey St Lawrence defeated Esholt by 16 runs to claim fourth spot.
They made 203 all out with James Smith (64) and Mark Robertshaw (61) in good form. Left arm spinner Ben Platt (5-34) was Esholt's best bowler.
Despite a fine innings of 60 from Gulsheraz Ahmed, Esholt were dismissed for 187 by Gareth Clough (4-46).
The closest finish came at Saltaire where the home side were bowled out for 158 with two balls to go as Yeadon sealed a three-run win. Off spinner Grant Soames (4-31) and opening bowler Greg Lambert (3-37) played key roles in their side's success. Yeadon were indebted to James Pickles (50) and David Leather (39) for reaching 161.
