FUNDRAISERS behind a cheeky charity calendar featuring a group of naked men from an East Yorkshire village are celebrating its successful launch.
The calendar, entitled "Rawcliffe Men in the Raw", has proved such a hit that organisers had to order reprints after selling nearly 200 copies in the first week.
It has even made an impact on auction website eBay – with several being sold for more than four times cost price.
Vicki Hookham, who organised the calendar with friend Victoria Hannah, said curiosity was helping to fuel sales – which to date have raised £1,500 for the Everyman Male Cancer Campaign.
She said: "I think it's intriguing for people – and it is a huge good cause."
The calendar, which costs £7.50, is available at local outlets or by contacting rawcliffemenintheraw@hotmail.co.uk
