People will be encouraged to use their noses and discover the free food on offer in Rotherham's countryside during a special walk tonight.
Between 6.30 and 8.30pm Rotherham Council green spaces officers including Jim Staveley, will lead a short one- to two-mile walk around the Boston Park Castle area to point out the tasty treats on offer outdoors.

They will point out what can be picked for food and what should be avoided. The officers will also demonstrate their findings with artwork, comprehensive field identification notes and recipes.

Green spaces officer Donna Morton said: "Thanks to the recent visit to the borough by Jamie Oliver, fresh food and healthy eating is the talk of the town and you can't get much healthier than picking straight from the bush or the tree.

"This walk reflects the ever-increasing eco-awareness and popular interest in finding more natural sources of food."
