Organiser Ruth Lockwood with Geoff Slater's painting of Sheffield's Winter Garden, which is among artistic talent on show there until October 19.

Members of Heeley Art Club, which was formed in 1895, have contributed to the Sheffield in the Frame, which will run alongside an exhibition at the Millennium Gallery called A Century of Sheffield Art. Coun Sylvia Dunkley, spokeswoman for Culture, said: "Sheffield has a wealth of creative talent. In fact, there are more artists working in Sheffield than in any other city outside London. I am really looking forward to seeing this exhibition by local artists inspired by Sheffield.
