PEOPLE in Doncaster are set to be asked to come up with a new name for the former art college on Church View.
Doncaster Central Development Trust (DCDT) has been told that the building – popularly known as Church View – cannot officially be named that, as it is the same as the road on which it stands.

Head of enterprise John Wright said: "Maybe you went to the college, maybe you walk past it every day, maybe you want to base your business on the Church View site or perhaps you are just a good, patriotic Doncaster resident who wants Church View to be a great asset for the community at the heart of a great town.

"Whatever you are, whatever your involvement, we want to hear from you. Over the coming weeks we will be asking anybody and everybody for suggestions and we'll then open up a poll."

A planned overhaul for the building will involve creating more than 50 shops and office units, kitchens and meeting rooms.
