The Romans came to Castleford on Saturday.
Billy Flood, Edward Johnson and Martin Hutchinson, pictured, joined the first Romans Spring Festival in the former mining town, which can trace its history back to Roman times. It consisted of a civilian settlement around a military fort. Picture: Jim Moran.
