THE Prince of Wales will visit Calderdale and Bradford on Monday. He will tour Sowerby Bridge Wharf to see restored canalside warehouses and the people behind the work, as well as local businesses.
His first visit was in 1987 when he saw derelict mills being brought back to life as part of the Riverside Project.
Since then, the Prince has been to Calderdale several times and has visited Todmorden, Hebden Bridge, Ripponden, Elland, Brighouse and Halifax.
His tour of Calderdale will begin at about noon and last two hours. As President of The Prince's Regeneration Trust, he will officially open Eastbrook Hall in Little Germany.
The Eastbrook Hall project was undertaken through a partnership of The Prince's Regeneration Trust, Bradford Centre Regeneration, English Partnerships, Bradford Council, Regen 2000, regional development agency, Yorkshire Forward and Aldersgate Estates.
