Two injured in dual carriageway collision

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a road collision which left two men seriously injured.
The smash on the A641 Bradford Road in Fartown, Huddersfield at around 16:10 on Wednesday, happened when a Suzuki motorcycle collided with a pedestrian crossing from the central reservation.

The 24 year old male pedestrian from the Fartown area was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary where his injuries are described as serious.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 31 year old man from the Almondbury area was also taken to HRI with serious injuries.

Any witnesses to the collision or anyone with any information are asked to contact PC 308 Shaw on (01484) 436847.
