TWO 16-year-old boys yesterday admitted killing a teenager who was found dead in a park.

A fifth defendant, a 16-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, was discharged from the court after the prosecution offered no evidence against him.

All five defendants were due to go on trial on Tuesday charged with the murder and robbery of Amar.

Ali, of Field Lane, Ravensthorpe, West Yorkshire, and Khan, of Broomer Street, Ravensthorpe, entered guilty pleas to the charges at the beginning of the trial on Tuesday.

Hussain, of North Stead Avenue, Ravensthorpe, and Rehman, of Broomer Street, yesterday entered guilty pleasto the lesser charge of manslaughter, which were accepted by the prosecution. Mr Justice Maddison said a not guilty verdict would be appropriate in respect of the fifth defendant.
