A BUTCHER who used to eat all the pies is now as fit as his proverbial dog after shedding eight stones in four months.
Meaty Daniel Wilson, 30, scoffed fry-ups, pies, chips and chocolate as he ballooned to over 20 stones after tying the knot with sweetheart Elizabeth, 29, two years ago.

Mr Wilson became tired and irritable and even lacked the energy to play with h
is two young sons, newborn Harvey and two-year-old Calum.

But he showed he was no chicken when he shed more than eight stone in four months by going on a medically supervised diet after he became depressed.

Mr Wilson, of Sherburn-in-Elmet, near Leeds, said: "At work the lads would joke and ask me 'who ate all the pies', but now I'm 13 stone and have a 32-inch waist and I'm the smallest one there. It's amazing, I feel great.

"I became very depressed about my weight and started to worry about my health.

"I would go to bed exhausted after all that eating. I was miserable and short-tempered."

He heard about a new diet at a nearby clinic which started him off with protein meal replacements which he said satisfied his hunger cravings.

"It cost around £2,000 but for me it was worth it because it has given me a new life," said Mr Wilson.
