A NURSE faked his own death after being caught out selling non-existent computer games on e-Bay.
Martin Dunn, 35, used a loophole in the popular Pay Pal payment scheme to scam over £10,000 out of customers who ordered and paid for the latest computer games months in advance of their release date, Dpncaster Crown Court heard.
Using the 'Buy It Now' section of the worldwide online market place website Dunn, a registered nurse at Doncaster Royal Infirmary, began taking orders and payment for the computer games - which he offered for half price at around £20 - in August 2004. The games were not due to be released until that November.
By the time the release date came around on November 11 - and the orders failed to arrive - the 30 day deadline within which customers could complain had passed.
