THE magical scenery of the Yorkshire Dales has caught the eye of film producers who are making the final instalment of the Harry Potter movie blockbusters.
Film crews have been in the Yorkshire Dales National Park to shoot scenes for the movie adaptation of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the seventh and final part of JK Rowling's hugely successful series of books about the young wizard.
Film footage was shot at Malham Cove and on the moors above Grassington last week for the hugely anticipated film, which is directed by David Yates and is due to be released in two parts in November next year and July 2011.
Location manager Sue Quinn said: "We wanted somewhere different that had a certain isolation so we came to the Yorkshire Dales. It's very beautiful here."
