Police investigating a serious sexual assault on a 17-year-old girl at a music event in Scarborough are asking festival-goers to email their photos and video clips.
The local girl was assaulted by an unknown man at the Beached festival when she entered a cubicle in a temporary block of ladies' toilets on the beach, close to The Spa.

North Yorkshire Police are now asking people who attended the event to send in their images in the hope they might help identify the attacker.

Officers are particularly interested in footage or photos that show the toilet block where the attack happened.

The suspect was described as white, aged in his early 20s, about 5ft 6in to 5ft 8in tall, with short brown hair, piercing aqua blue eyes and a square jaw. He was wearing a short-sleeved, round-collared, light-blue t-shirt with a graffiti-style pattern on it.

Anyone with photos and video clips of the event are asked to email them to BeachedPoliceAppeal@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk

All information can also be passed to North Yorkshire Police on 0845 6060247 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
