Police name woman found dead at pub

A WOMAN who was found dead at the rear of a pub in Mexborough, South Yorkshire has been officially named by detectives as 55-year-old Marie Anne Booth.
A 62-year-old man who was arrested after the discovery at around 11pm last Thursday night has been released without charge, but officers said a murder investigation was ongoing.

Locals said Mrs Booth was the landlady of the Bull's Head in High Street, Mexborough. Her body was found at the foot of a high wall behind the pub by paramedics.
