River body is that of missing OAP

A BODY recovered from the River Ouse near York on Wednesday has been identified as that of Phillip Trevor Moore from the Acomb area of the city.
The 82-year-old had been reported missing on Tuesday and a massive police search launched.

His body was pulled from the river in the Poppleton area of the city last night.

An inquest was opened and adjourned today after evidence of identification had been taken.
