A Rolling Stones fan is set for a windfall.
The Stones liked Yorkshire so much that in one year alone, in 1964, they made nine separate visits to the county in just eight months, between February and September. It was on one of these northern excursions – when they played at St George's Hall, Bradford, on May 14 – that they autographed an admirer's souvenir concert programme, which is now expected to fetch between £600 and £800 at
Christie's in London on Wednesday.
That year the Rolling Stones achieved their first two number one hits.
The programme is signed by all five original Stones, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts and Brian Jones.
