Two charged after West Yorks tot's death

TWO people have appeared in court charged in connection with the death of a two-year-old girl in West Yorkshire
Zahbeena Navsarka, 21, and Subhan Anwar, both of Riddings Road, Sheepridge, in Huddersfield, appeared before Huddersfield Magistrates today charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and neglect.

They were arrested following the death of two-year-old Sanam Navsarka on Thursday night.

The toddler suffered serious multiple injuries, including broken arms and legs. Police were notified by staff at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.

Navsarka and Anwar were denied bail and ramanded into custody until a further hearing on May 19.
