LEEDS United supporters have been urged not to travel to tonight's Carlisle game without a valid ticket
To ensure the match remains safe and free from disorder no tickets will be available for purchase today.

Police officers will be deployed at Carlisle United's Brunton Park ground and in other strategic areas around the city, providing a robust, hi
gh-visibility presence to reassure fans and the surrounding community, said a police spokesman.

"Through intelligence led policing, supported by uniformed officers, troublemakers will be identified, targeted and removed," Cumbria police said in a statement.

Leeds United supporters are also reminded that no rail service will be available from Carlisle following the conclusion of the game and that they may be held in the ground for a short time after the final whistle.

Chief Insp Julie McFee, who is co-ordinating the policing operation around the game, said: "This match is crucial to both teams and we want to ensure that all those with tickets to attend the game have an enjoyable evening.

"The policing operation will target troublemakers who are intent on spoiling the enjoyment of genuine supporters.

"Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated in any form and all incidents will be dealt with in a swift and robust manner. We will also pursue football banning orders for any relevant offence."
