Youth held after roof stand-off

Police negotiators were needed during a four-hour stand-off yesterday after a 17-year-old climbed on to the roof of a supermarket in Grimsby and refused to come down.
The youth climbed on to the store roof in Bethlehem Street at 1.30pm and did not climb down until 5.25pm.
He was then arrested on suspicion of burglary.
