BBC man confirms leaked emails genuine
BBC Look North weatherman Paul Hudson has become embroiled in the row over leaked emails which appear to show climate change experts discussing how to spin facts and figures.
The files – which include 4,000 documents allegedly sent by some of the world's top scientists over a 13 year-period – were taken from computers at the University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit, a world-renowned centre for the study of climate change.
Mr Hudson – who is also a climate correspondent for the BBC – said on his blog this week he could confirm at least some of the correspondence was genuine. Mr Hudson felt "serious issues" had been raised by the leaked emails.
