Cat becomes cream of ATV world

CHRIS Berry talks with Ben Hebron of Moorland ATV.

Fuel economy, great performance, farmer recommendations, diesel engine and 0% finance make the Arctic Cat this year's 'must have' ATV.

That's the view of Ben Hebron of Moorland ATV in Rosedale Abbey. "Our customers have been very pleasantly surprised over just how well the new diesel 700 3in1 performs.

"It's a little bit heavier than most bikes and really suits the higher end users. It really can pull a lot of weight, and its fuel economy is set to become legendary.

"One of my farmer customers found that it cost him just 8 to fill his tank and even though he used the machine quite a lot he had still only used half a tank of fuel by the end of the week."

Arctic Cat talk of the 700 3in1 being the long awaited industry workhorse and Ben agrees wholeheartedly with the tag.

"It's certainly robust and extremely reliable. It's powered by a high torque twin-cylinder diesel engine and gives a high level of traction in every type of land condition. The 3in1 system allows you to switch between either a second seat, cargo box or rear rack, so it can do anything you want an ATV to do."

Ben is also excited about the new 400 4x4 model that has just been released this year. "The automatic version has been available for some time but there hasn't been a manual version, and it's again something our customers have been crying out for."

Ben only took on the Arctic Cat franchise last year and has already restocked twice in that time. He has just taken delivery of his new stock for 2007 so now is a great time to go and see, and try, for yourself – particularly since the 0% finance deal is available too, but hurry, because the offer is only open until 31 March!
