'Drug cakes' girl made to move school
A TEENAGE girl has been forced to change schools after she rep-ortedly gave two teaching assistants cakes laced with drugs.
They were taken to hospital after eating the "hash cakes" brought into Wortley High School, Leeds, by the teenager.
Doctors treating the pair discovered they had been drugged – although it is not known what substance was used. They were allowed to go home and returned to school as normal the next day.
The pupil, believed to be 15, was suspended while the incid-ent, on September 10, was investigated and education chiefs have now decided to move her.
The local authority said yesterday neither of the assistants had made an official complaint and no police action had been taken.
The school said it "works hard to educate its pupils about the dangers and implications of drug abuse and will not tolerate any behaviour of this kind".
