Harry Potter star shares magic of Hogwarts Express

Two stars from the Harry Potter films were reunited yesterday at the National Railway Museum in York.

Matthew Lewis, who plays Harry Potter's classmate Neville Longbottom in the Warner Bros film adaptation of JK Rowling's books, was reunited with Olton Hall, the Great Western locomotive built in 1937.

Olton Hall, the locomotive which appeared in the Harry Potter films, is on display in the Museum's South Yard, and is providing steam rides every Sunday for the rest of the month.

Matthew, who lives in Leeds, was taking the chance to meet up with the locomotive and check out the museum's free activities for children over the summer holidays, including the magical science shows in its new Learning Platform.

He said: "It's great that so many Harry Potter fans have the chance to see and even ride behind the biggest star of the films. Seeing all the visitors flock around Olton Hall at the National Railway Museum today reminded me just how excited everyone gets around absolutely anything to do with the films.

"I'm sure the visitors must be even more exhilarated on Sundays when the engine is actually steamed up to take them for a ride."
