Henry VIII armour returns to Armouries (Video)
Actor Jim Brazendale portrays King Henry VIII as the armour once worn by the Tudor king returned to the Royal Armouries in Leeds after a year on display at the Tower of London.
The museum's tournament gallery has undergone a makeover to mark the return of the armour. New displays introduce the thrills and spills of the highly dangerous tournament sports – and the armour developed to protect competitors.
The tour starts with two of the rarest and earliest pieces to survive from medieval England. There is also a tribute to the Roman emperor Maximilian I who gifted the 'Horned Helmet' to Henry VIII.
