Hi-tech help in hunt for Claudia
A media van parked outside shops at the junction of Hull Road and Melrosegate, in York, at the weekend appealing for information about missing woman Claudia Lawrence.
Miss Lawrence, 35, a chef at York University who lives alone in Heworth Road, was last seen on her way back from work on Wednesday, March 18. She has not been in contact with anyone since about 8.30pm that night and vanished without taking any money, bank cards, or her passport.
Friends and family have described her disappearance as "totally out of character".
North Yorkshire Police have searched 220 properties along with becks, the River Foss and a lake on the university's campus.
