M62 chaos as lorry spreads paper across road

DRIVERS faced rush hour chaos this morning after a lorry overturned and shed its load of several tonnes of paper over the M62.

Long queues built up on the westbound carriageway at junction 29 near Lofthouse, Wakefield. Traffic was queuing back as far as junction 31 at Normanton.

The debris has now been cleared but traffic was still reported to be slow moving.
