Man game for anything to do with Monopoly
FORMER World Monopoly Champion Jason Bunn is a self-confessed “Monopoholic”. Mr Bunn, 41, a taxi driver from Meanwood, Leeds, has the biggest collection of Monopoly memorabilia in the world.
He has spent thousands of pounds on the collection which includes a Batman and Robin version of Monopoly, a Monopoly fruit machine and a specially-made wooden board worth 700.
He said: “Whenever I go out shopping I’m in and out of every department store and toy shop looking to add to my collection.”
Mr Bunn held the British and world Monopoly titles in 1986 and is favourite for the Yorkshire Monopoly Championships taking place at Yorkshire County Cricket Club, in Headingley, Leeds, on November 16th.
The championships are played on the Yorkshire edition of the Monopoly board which includes county favourites such as Yorkshire Tea, Leeds United, Castle Howard and the Yorkshire Post.
