Office worker dies falling down stairs
A MAN has died after falling down stairs in a Yorkshire office building, police confirmed today.
He fell on stairs at HBOS' Leeds headquarters, in Lovell Park Road, this morning in what is understood to have been a tragic accident.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious and were today trying to contact the man's family.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "At about 9.10am today police were called to HBOS' offices in Lovell Park Road, Leeds, where a man was found to have died after a fall on stairs within the building.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
"We are not in a position to release the man's age and identity as relatives are still being informed."
A Halifax spokesperson said: "We are saddened by the death of a colleague at our Lovell Park offices. Our thoughts are with their family and friends."
