OutLoud: An audio series for book lovers everywhere
Our unique new audio series lets you hear about new books from the authors themselves.
Yorkshire has provided the backdrop to many of the world's greatest literary works from Bram Stoker's gothic masterpiece Dracula, the passion and tragedies of the Brontes, to modern classics such as Barry Hines' A Kestrel for a Knave.
There are few corners of the British Isles that can claim to share the wealth of literature either inspired by or set against its diverse communities.
Out Loud is a new Yorkshire Post series that aims to highlight this wealth. In each audio programme we will be speaking to authors about work as well as hear them read from their latest book.
We will also be speaking to some of the international writers who dominate the best-seller lists at shops around the region, and the world.
You can also send us your verdict. If we profile a book you are reading let us know what you think about it and contribute to our readers' rating for that title.
