Prison officer jailed for sex offences
A former prison officer at Wormwood Scrubs has been jailed for 11 years for sexual activity with a young woman with severe learning difficulties.
Isaac Sunday Sampson conducted a sexual relationship with the woman, described by police as "extremely vulnerable", at his home and in a nearby park.
The 38-year-old was charged in 2009 but fled to his native Nigeria before a trial could take place.
He was arrested at Heathrow Airport upon his return to the UK in November 2010.
Sampson, of Florence Road, Feltham, Middlesex, was found guilty last month of three counts of sexual activity with a person with severe learning difficulties and sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court. He was also given six-months, to run concurrently, for failing to attend court last April and will be on the sex offenders' register for life..
