River adds deep note to natural duet
The sound of the River Seven on the North York Moors is music to the ears of trombonist Alan Tomlinson.
He said the backdrop of the beautiful valley of Rosedale, near Pickering, and the music of the river near Dale Head Far was all he needed for one of the most extraordinary musical duets ever planned to begin this Sunday at noon.
Alan says he will paint a soundscape of a primordial world, inspired and accompanied by the music of the river. It is the lastest art event produced by Simon Thackray who runs The Shed arts venue in Ryedale.
