Runner is inspired by park life
Helen Turton’s images have been inspired by her daily run.
The photographer was running her regular Saturday morning 5K through her local park when she stopped and she was struck by a fabulous view of Hyde Park in Leeds.
This gave the photographer the inspiration and idea to photograph other parks in Leeds and her pictures are now on display in an exhibition in Leeds. The five canvas pieces are shot in Hyde Park, Meanwood Park, Roundhay Park, Golden Acre Park and Temple Newsam, all in Leeds.
The exhibition at Salvo’s restaurant, in Headingley, Leeds, will be open every day from 12-2pm and from 6pm every evening and will run until June 2012. Each of the five images are available to purchase in various sizes through Salvo’s.
