AWARD-WINNING Yorkshire television presenters JK and Joel – Jason King and Joel Ross – have signed a two-year deal to present a daily breakfast show at Radio Aire in Leeds. The former Radio 1 DJs took over show this week.
They replaced Simon Logan, who has left after 11 years at the station.
The pair, popular with children through their BBC series Hider In The House, previously worked at Viking FM in Hull and at Yorkshire Coast Radio.
Scarborough-born Joel, who with his partner used to present Radio 1's Chart Show, said: "I'm delighted to be coming back to my Yorkshire roots. JK and I are really looking forward to connecting with the people of Leeds and creating a must-listen-to breakfast show."
