TV chef James Martin will be among hundreds of hospitality heavyweights turning out at industry forum later this month.

Figures from over 100 hotels, venues and events suppliers from across the North will share their insight and showcase their wares at the Conference and Hospitality Show on Thursday, April 26.

The annual industry get- together, now on its third instalment, has seen a 50 per cent surge in exhibitors this year, defying the economics challenges that have caused competitors to struggle.

The exhibition, at Leeds United’s Elland Road football ground, will feature seminars and guest speakers including Samme Allen, UK president of Meeting Planners International, and Visit England chief executive James Beresford.

Mr Martin, who presents BBC One’s Saturday Kitchen and opened his new restaurant The Leeds Kitchen at Clarence Dock in March, will show off his culinary skills with a cookery demonstration.

Organiser Emma Cartmell, owner of Event Management 360, said: “Attracting such high level industry speakers such as James and Samme shows how well regarded the Conference and Hospitality Show has become. We are now the only show of its type outside of London and are proud to be flying the flag for Leeds and Yorkshire”.
