THE star of a hit Yorkshire TV drama was one of the big winners at last night’s glittering Bafta Awards ceremony.

Vicky McClure, who played Lol in the Channel Four drama This is England ‘86, won the best actress award for her role in the series, filmed on location in Sheffield.

The stars turned out in their droves for last night’s glitzy ceremony to see BBC drama Sherlock collect two of the main prizes, including best drama series.

Steve Coogan and Jo Brand also picked up awards.
