The bodies of a local couple were found today in a Bradford park.
Police say the deaths of the 40-year-old man and 35-year-old woman, who were found at 6.30am in Bowling Park, are not believed to be suspicious.
Detective Chief Inspector Steve Snow, from West Yorkshire Police’s Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said: “While the investigation is at an early stage we do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances, but the bodies will be subject to a post mortem to establish the exact cause of death.
“Formal identification has not taken place at this time but we believe the bodies are that of a local couple; a man aged 40 and a woman aged 35.
“An area of the park close to Lister Avenue has been sealed off while the scene continues to be forensically examined.”
