INQUIRIES have been continuing to try and piece together the movements of a 47-year-old man last seen on Bempton cliffs.
Officers scoured the cliffs near Bridlington on foot over the weekend and by helicopter, but nothing has been seen of Simon Hodgson-Greaves, from Riccall, whose camper van was found at the nearby RSPB reserve.
A police spokeswoman said: “Mr Hodgson-Greaves is known to go away for several days at a time and has an interest in the RSPB. We believe he has been staying in his camper van on and off for a number of weeks.
“We urge anyone who believes they have seen him or given him a lift over the weekend to contact the police. His family is extremely worried and we need to know that he is safe and well.”
