Climber injured near Harrogate beauty spot

A climber had to be rescued after a fall near Brimham Rocks.

Upper Wharfedale Rescue Fell Rescue was called by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with a 43 year old male climber who had fallen several metres at the Fag Slab Area and injured his back.

After treatment by ambulance paramedics the casualty was stretchered by the team to a waiting road ambulance.
