Laura the Dairy Princess

Leeds Metropolitan University student Laura Hickey.

LEEDS student Laura Hickey has been appointed UK Dairy Expo Princess.

She will fill a ceremonial role at the Carlisle event on March 2 and 3, and afterwards as an ambassador for the industry – an idea copied from the USA, where Dairy Princesses are common.

Aged 22, she is taking a degree course in osteopathy at Leeds Metropolitan University and paying her way with modelling and promotional work.
