Livestock show expert to help organise North Sheep
Pateley Bridge farmer Heather Stoney has been appointed as assistant organiser of its highly successful biennial North Sheep event.
She will work with the show’s main organiser, Julie Sedgewick who has developed it into one of the UK’s foremost sheep events.
Heather is already a well-known face in the industry and those behind the 2013 event said it will benefit from her extensive experience in livestock showing.
The NSA North Sheep 2013 event will be held on June 5 at Crimple Head Farm near Harrogate and is a key date in its Northern region calendar.
In her new part-time role, Heather will be aiming to build on the success of the 2011 event in Northumberland adding to the 7,000 visitors and 230 trade stands.
